Indiana Pacers Training Facility

Garmong Construction served as a subcontractor on this 72,000-square-foot Pacers / St. Vincent practice facility located in downtown Indianapolis. The five-story facility houses the Indiana Pacers locker room, full practice facilities, support staff and the St. Vincent sports medicine unit. Garmong was contracted to complete multiple scopes of work including fireproofing, exterior framing and air barrier, steel stair towers, a grand monumental staircase and decorative metal railing(s), doors/frames and hardware, and a dumbwaiter and wheelchair lifts.
500 Wabash Apartments

Garmong Construction served as a subcontractor for the installation of a 25,780-square-foot post-tension concrete podium for a multi-purpose commercial retail space. Additionally, an 18,000-square-foot concrete slab on grade was installed. This $22.7M project features 75 apartments on the upper four floors of this five-story building. It houses an estimated 260 Indiana State University juniors, seniors and graduate students in lodging that offers more space and amenities than traditional residence halls – including fully-equipped kitchens.
Linda E. White Hospice House

Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for Deaconess Hospital’s new Hospice House. The $10.0M, 35,000-square-foot facility, located on the Deaconess Main Campus in downtown Evansville, provides inpatient medical services and respite care for patients with a terminal illness who need pain management or symptom control. The facility has seven patient rooms with adjoining suites for family to stay while care is received. There are plans to build additional rooms in the future.
Courtyard by Marriott Arc Hotel

Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the Courtyard by Marriott project built by The Arc Innovations, Inc. This $29.5M, 113,644-square-foot hotel has six floors and 150 rooms. It is located next to the Convention Center, where a four-level parking garage to accommodate the Convention Center, Hotel and downtown Muncie was also constructed by Garmong Construction.
Coast to Coast Automotive

Garmong served as General Contractor on the Coast to Coast Imports auto dealership in Indianapolis. Located at 96th & Keystone, this 18,000 square-foot high-end import dealership (branded as “The Collection”) features a four-story car lift display, open concept showroom, premium customer lobby area, and full service garage. Construction activity began on a vacant site in March of 2017 and less than eight months later the first cars rolled off the lot.
Gartland Foundry

Garmong Construction has completed several projects for Gartland Foundry. Garmong Construction served as the General Contractor of Gartland’s cleaning and finishing room renovation. This project, which required a fast-tracked schedule during the manufacturer’s annual shut-down period, involved; new flooring, lighting and three, new state-of-the-art loading docks. In addition, a new 3,200-square-foot warehouse was added to facilitate staging of product to aid in Gartland’s goal of prompt and on-time deliveries. Following the cleaning and finishing room renovation, Garmong Construction completed an 8,500-square-foot furnace room addition. This project included 8” and 12” concrete walls to allow for the installation of two, four-megawatt furnaces and power supplies; two overhead cranes; equipment pits and foundations. Additionally, monorails were installed to transport melted steel for mold pouring.
Muncie Arc Parking Garage

Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the City of Muncie on this new, 400 space, three-level parking garage. Constructed adjacent to the downtown convention center, the garage also provides parking for the new ARC Hotel, a Courtyard by Marriott, also constructed by Garmong, and designed to serve as a teaching center for persons with disabilities who wish to work in the hospitality industry. The parking garage was designed to accommodate disabled travelers, as well as provide space for bicycles and electric cars.
Indiana National Army Guard Maintenance Shop #8

Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the Indiana Army National Guard Maintenance Shop #8. This $8.0M, 30,000-square-foot masonry constructed facility serves as a repair shop for vehicles and equipment and includes 10 work bays, along with a 25-ton overhead crane to service the work bay area, offices, supply room, storage areas, fitness center, and bathrooms/showers. This project is LEED Silver certified.
Magna PowerTrain

This strategic joint venture began as a speculative manufacturing specific shell building developed to attract new jobs. Delaware County secured the real estate and provided financial backing. The City of Muncie provided assistance with the delivery of public utilities. Garmong Development Company, LLC provided all project development services including initial project financing, conceptual planning, site/facilities design, construction, assisting with project marketing, and the negotiation of a long-term lease to Magna as the end user. This now completed 101,000-square-foot, precast concrete, advanced manufacturing facility is designed and constructed to facilitate future expansion of up to 240,000 square-feet on this 24 acre site. The total facilities, equipment, and technology investment by Garmong Development Company, LLC and Magna MTP-Muncie approximates $20.0M.
Auer Hall of Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music

Garmong Construction completed renovations in Auer Hall to prepare the facility acoustically for the installation of a $2.0M pipe organ that includes 3,945 pipes, three manuals (keyboards) and a pedal board. The scope included new carpeting, redesign of the enclosure around the stage and in the ceiling, a floor-mounted projection screen that is incorporated in the choral-riser system, installation of a projector in the existing ticket booth, an audio system for sound reinforcement and a new audio mixing console.
Indiana State University Chilled Water Plant

Garmong Construction served as General Contractor on this 6,000-square-foot, two-story, chilled water facility. Garmong Construction self-performed many aspects of the project including all structural cast-in-place concrete work. This state-of-the-art facility provides cooling for a significant portion of ISU’s campus.
Fifth Third Bank

Garmong completed the 5,000 square-foot Fifth Third Bank branch at the Honey Creek Commons, located on Highway 41 South in Terre Haute. This $900,000 project is a wood framed, brick veneer building with site work and landscaping.
