Woodrow Wilson Middle School Gymnasium

Garmong joined Woodrow Wilson Middle School on April 16, 2008 for the dedication of the Grainger-Kennedy Gymnasium. As Construction Manager for the project, Garmong constructed a new addition which included a new auxiliary gymnasium, band room, interior remodel of the old band room into a weight training fitness area, two new bathrooms, and a concessions area.

Garmong also planted a tree on the school grounds in honor of the Grainger-Kennedy Gymnasium.

Hux Cancer Center

On February 7, 2008, Garmong joined Union Hospital, AP&S, Hope Center, and Clara Fairbanks Center for Women officials to celebrate the grand opening of Hux Cancer Center.

Union Hospital Major Expansion

Union Hospital broke ground on September 10, 2007, for a $178 million expansion project. The new construction will include space for emergency services, imaging and surgery. The renovation project for the existing hospital will include all new private rooms for patients. Garmong serves as a construction partner for this project.

Central Indiana Power Rededication

Central Indiana Power held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their newly renovated headquarters in Greenfield, Indiana on October 25, 2007. The renovation included a redesigned main entrance, remodeled office areas, a new garage area for trucks, and a community room. Garmong and its design firm Hannum, Wagle & Cline Engineering collaborated on the design-build project for CIP.

Ivy Tech - Indiana Center for the Life Sciences

Garmong is serving as the general contractor for the construction of the Indiana Center for Life Sciences. The Center is a joint venture of Monroe County, Ivy Tech Community College, Bloomington, and the Bloomington Life Sciences Partnership. The new facility will be located adjacent to the Ivy Tech - Bloomington campus. Construction on the facility is scheduled for completion in September and will contain four science labs, three classrooms and a manufacturing training space.
