Garmong served as the Construction Consultant for the airport following severe storms in the Terre Haute area. Overall, 22 buildings were damaged at varying degrees requiring repairs that included roofing, siding, guttering, and window repairs/replacement. In addition, several "T-Hangars" (storage sheds for airplanes) were completely torn down. During the demolition of the T-Hangars, Garmong was able to work with the Indiana Laborers’ Union Trust Fund to provide on-the-job-training to students in the apprenticeship program.
Garmong is currently completing work on the Ivy Tech building which includes a new roof, EIFS repairs, new structural supports, and a new hangar door.
