Carlisle Elementary/Jr. High School - Carlisle, Indiana

Garmong Construction Services was selected by Southwest School Corporation to serve as Construction Manager for the new Sullivan Middle School and additions and renovations to Carlisle Elementary/Jr. High School. Construction was completed in time for the 2008-2009 school year.

Sullivan Middle School includes more than 100,000 square feet of new construction.  The school contains three classroom wings including four standard classrooms and one science classroom, science and project labs, conference and team planning areas for teachers, a state-of-the-art media center, multipurpose room with stage, and band and choral rooms.  A vocational technology wing includes industrial arts, family and consumer sciences, an art room, a special needs room, a gymnasium and fitness area with locker rooms, a cafeteria, and courtyard areas for outdoor learning.

Carlisle Elementary/Jr. High School contains over 15,000 square feet of new construction.  Interior renovation includes the administration area, industrial art room, and family and consumer sciences room.  The elementary school addition includes two new kindergarten rooms, a computer/project lab, and conference and team planning areas for teachers.  The junior high addition includes computer and project labs, instrumental/multipurpose room, a student commons area, and courtyard areas for outdoor learning.
