Indianapolis International Airport

Garmong Construction served as the lead General Contractor for numerous restaurant buildouts at the new Indianapolis International Airport. Completed buildouts included Vinea, Giorgio’s Pizzeria, and Qdoba Mexican Grill.

As the airport opening neared, other on-site contractors requested Garmong’s assistance to complete additional buildouts, including Cold Stone Creamery, South Bend Chocolate Company, and Green Leaf’s & Bananas. Garmong also completed all interior carpentry for McDonald’s Restaurant.

Crawfordsville Airport
Crawfordsville, Indiana

The Crawfordsville Airport project consisted of a new 4,200 square foot terminal building. The Nucor pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) also included 1,000 square feet for verands/observation area. The new terminal was built on the original terminal site, which was a small farmhouse purchased along with the property in 1944.

Terre Haute International Airport
Terre Haute, Indiana

Garmong served as Construction Consultant for the airport following severe storms in the Terre Haute area. Overall, 22 buildings were damaged, requiring various repairs, including roofing, siding, guttering, and window repairs and replacements. In addition, several “T-Hangar” airplane storage sheds were completely torn down. During the demolition of the T-Hangars, garmong partnered with the Indiana Laborer’s Union Trust Fund to provide on-the-job training for students in the aprenticeship program.
