Historic Renovation of Providence Hall Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana

Garmong is serving as construction manager for the historic renovation of Providence Hall for the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Phase II interior renovations include making the building fully accessible and energy-efficient, upgrading systems to take advantage of current technologies, while preserving its historic features. When complete, it will contain 46 units and a full-service dining room, plus numerous common spaces for residents to socialize, access computers, and receive training. The renovation will also include beautification of a central courtyard. Work on the 13-month project, began in November.

Indiana State University
Terre Haute, Indiana

Garmong recently completed the renovation of Memorial Stadium's press box and replacement of the field's artificial turf surface. Garmong partnered with Field Turf Tarkett.

The new press box is designed to be ergonomically efficient, supporting the requirements of the coaching staff, administrators, and faculty while working and hosting athletic events. The new field includes a custom in-laid logo and markings, to drastically reduce field prep time prior to games.

Ivy Tech, Indiana Center for the Life Sciences
Bloomington, Indiana

Garmong served as the general contractor for construction of the Indiana Center for Life Sciences. The Center is a joint venture of Monroe County, Ivy Tech Community College-Bloomington, and the Bloomington Life Sciences Partnership. The new facility is located adjacent to the Ivy Tech - Bloomington campus. Located adjacent to Ivy Tech's Bloomington campus, the multi-faceted education and training facility houses four science labs, three classrooms and a manufacturing training space.
