Promotions

   Garmong is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Moyer to Director of Marketing. In this capacity, Nicole will be responsible for all aspects relative to Garmong’s ability to market services through image and brand development and she will work with the Executive Team to develop and implement global strategies to enhance Garmong’s already effective marketing program within each of its regional offices. Nicole joined the Garmong team in 2005.
   Garmong is pleased pleased to announce the promotion of Mitch Hannum to Regional Manager of our Indianapolis office. In this role, he manages Garmong’s central Indiana client and employee relationships, the day-to-day office operations, new client procurement, as well as community involvement/outreach.    Garmong is pleased to announce the advancement of Brian Kooistra to Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, a Board of Directors level position, Brian will be responsible for all aspects of product pricing and contract delivery in all locations – Terre Haute, Indianapolis and Evansville. New Hires

   Garmong welcomes Project Engineer Josh Petrowski to the team. An Indiana State University Construction Management graduate, Josh brings general construction, commercial concrete and building materials expertise to his role. Born and raised in Terre Haute, Josh has been a member of the Indiana Guard for the past 10 years, having served in both Iraq and Kuwait. He will be based in our Terre Haute office.
   Garmong welcomes Project Manager John Cummins. His project management experience spans across the US in various sectors including healthcare, retail, corporate headquarters, education, industrial, and cold storage. John is a Building Construction Management graduate of Purdue University. He will be based in our Indianapolis office.
   Garmong welcomes Project Engineer Alaine Vanderford. Alaine brings eight years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial and industrial construction. She is a 2009 graduate of IUPUI with a degree in Construction Engineering and Management. She will be based in our Indianapolis office.
   Garmong welcomes Senior Project Manager Dale Riley. Dale has over 32 years of commercial construction experience, throughout the US, in both the public and private sectors, having completed a broad range of projects including retail, industrial, healthcare, sanitary treatment, education, religious, and correctional facilities. Dale will be based in our Terre Haute office and will manage our industrial accounts.

Internships

   Garmong welcomes summer intern Dominick Smith! Dominick is a senior at Terre Haute South High School and will be assisting the Marketing, Project Management and Accounting Departments. Dominick is a participant in the Vigo County School Corporation’s Diversity Program. The Program began as a partnership with Garmong nearly nine years ago. The internships provide real work experience to students and create awareness about higher education and career opportunities that exist in the Wabash Valley. The program now includes numerous businesses in the community.
   Garmong welcomes summer intern Zoie Hamby! Zoie is a sophomore at Western Kentucky University majoring in Architectural Science and Technology. Zoie is active in her community through her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, whose philanthropy supports Autism Speaks on campus, around the community, and nationwide. She is also a member of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AISA). Born and raised in Evansville, Zoie will be based in our Evansville office and will assist the Project Management Team.
   Garmong welcomes Intern Ashton Lewis to the team. Ashton is an Ivy Tech senior majoring in Visual Communications. She will assist the Marketing Department with various design projects, event planning and presentation development. Ashton was raised in Paris, IL, and will be based in our Terre Haute office.
   Garmong welcomes Intern Chris Vines to the team. Chris is an Indiana State University junior majoring in Construction Management. He will assist our Project Management Division with K-12 projects throughout the state. Chris was born and raised in Terre Haute, and has been a member of the Indiana Guard for the past four years. He will be based in our Terre Haute office.
   Garmong welcomes Intern Josh Pinney to the team. Josh, a senior at Rose-Hulman, is completing his degree in civil engineering. Based in our Terre Haute office, he will be assigned to the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Student Union project. In addition to his internship, he serves as a Student Building Supervisor for Rose-Hulman’s Sports and Recreation Center. Josh was born and raised in the Fort Wayne area.
